The Spiritual Warrior

Is it an accident that many Eastern Spiritual Traditions, like the Shao Lin Monks, are also Warrior Traditions? We don’t think so. If you are going to live your authentic core, you must have the discipline to forge your path against the current of mass society. This takes Warrior Spirit. So, bring your Warrior Spirit as we cultivate the power of integrity on the mat. Expect to work, sweat, and leave with new tools for making your poses stronger than they ever were before.

Yang Yin with Alyssa

Join Alyssa Thursday mornings for a nourishing blend of effort and ease.

This one-hour class starts with a dynamic 30 to 35-minute flow to focus on connecting the movements of the body with breath, and to get the muscles and joints moving and warmed up. We’ll then transition to the Yin portion of class where the focus shifts inward while we stretch, and hold poses for longer lengths of time to help relax and calm the nervous system. A great way to refresh body and mind to start the day!

In-person or online.

New to Yoga?

Beginning a yoga practice can be intimidating. Here are a few tips to help you get started:

Which class? We offer many different classes and each of our instructors brings their own unique style. We’d love to help you find classes and instructors to fit your interests and needsand schedule. Just ask!

No mat? No problem! We have mats and all the props you need for a great experience.

Shoes? Nope. Please leave your shoes and worries at the door. Yoga is traditionally practiced barefoot.

Cell phone? This is your time to step away from your phone. Turn it off and leave it with your things. And please enter and leave the studio quietly when class is in progress.

Recovering from injury? Concerns about specific movements? Pregnant? Please let your instructor know. Honor your body. Work within your comfort range and feel free to ask for modifications and guidance. That’s what we’re here for! And remember to check with your physician regarding any medical concerns.
